Fiscal Year 24/25 Board of Commissioners Meeting Schedule and Holiday Calendar A motion was made by Commissioner Kincaid to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner.J. Ramsey seconded the motion. Speed Study Assistant Town Manager Josh Watkins presented the results of the speed study conducted on Cimarron Boulevard and Timberlane Drive. Cimarron Boulevard: Phase :: April 3-5, 2024. 1,512 vehicles evaluated; average speed 22 MPH, highest speed 43 MPH. 923 vehicles (61.04%) exceeded the posted speed limit. Phase I: April 5-7, 2024. 1,773 vehicles evaluated; average speed 21 MPH, highest speed 44 MPH. 1,064 vehicles (60.01%) exceeded the posted speed limit. Final results indicate an average speed of approximately 21.5N MPH, classified as a Class A traffic issue, suggesting increased enforcement or other measures. No Motion: Commissioner Kincaid moved to establish ai three-way stop at Cimarron Boulevard and Timberlane Drive. Commissioner Abernathy seconded. The vote Phase I: April 12-14, 2024. 856 vehicles evaluated; average speed 23 MPH, highest speed 43 MPH. 665 vehicles (77.68%) exceeded the posted speed limit. Phase II: April 22-24, 2024. 1,032 vehicles evaluated; average speed 241 MPH, highest speed 43 MPH. 843 vehicles (81.97%) exceeded the posted speed limit. Final results indicate an average speed ofa approximately 21.5 MPH, classified as a Class A traffic issue. No traffic collisions reported in the past 12 months. Motion: Commissioner. The form will be included in the agenda packet, and requests can be placed on the Consent Agenda for initiation. Motion: Commissioner Abernathy moved to adopt this process for all future speed study requests. Commissioner Kincaid seconded. The vote was unanimous in favor. 8b. Riverlink Greenway Project Budget Ordinance Revision Josh Watkins presented the revision for the Riverlink Greenway Project Budget Ordinance, reflecting additional grants received. 6.A Agenda Items Requiring a Public Hearing 6a. Budget FY2024/25 Commissioner Abernathy made a motion to open the Public Hearing. The motion was seconded Town Manager Ollis presented the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25. Two formal bids were received, and one company communicated they could not provide information for grading. The Town will hold the two received bids and re-bid for additional prices. No action was taken at this time. 8. Items for Discussion Assistant Town Manager Watkins demonstrated that the Town now has a security camera streaming live via YouTube, which can be viewed on the Town's website. 9.
