PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR REPORT - Travis Brett Travis wanted to bring to the attention oft the Public Works committee - there was a sewer block on Almond St between Railroad and Front, they flushed, it is at the end of line, clog open, they used camera after and found a brick and grill spatula. Spatula. not an issue. Northampton will come help witht their camera. Iftherei is a break int the line, will need permission to open. 4" line, brick will be a problem, need permission to open the street. Fix that section and get it repaved. Costs involved. Pete shared with council that the heating system upstairs was inspected, and it was found that the burner tubes are shot, system is over 26 years old, we received 2 quotes. 1 good one from Belfor to replace units upstairs. Pete said Roger was working to get one more quote. We have no money budgeted for that this year, we will see if we can find money to do over the summer Pete asked the status of the barrier on Main Street - guardrail. Travis will rip out the bent part, we will need a new end piece, need the specifications for those, Travis will research. Chief will while things are less hectic. review case to see when we will get paid for this. NEW BUSINESS Mike = asked if we are doing any paving this year. Pete stated we have money ini the budget to work where the storm sewer was done, needed to wait a year for it to settle. Travis said we do have some money in the budget for regular paving.
