MINUTES SCHUYLKILL HAVEN BOROUGH REORGANIZATION: MEETING DATE: TIME: PLACE: ATTENDING: January 2, 2024 6:30 p.m. Council Chambers, 250 Parkway Council members Kurt Montz, Jerry Bowman, Tom Gordon, Diane Roeder, John Williams, and. Jesse Kavanaugh. Also present were Mayor Devlin, Administrator Seiders, Solicitor Semanchick and! Secretary Tinari. Councilman Dress and JCP Mayor Devlin administered the oath of office to the newly elected council members Jerry Bowman, Tom Gordon, Diane Roeder, and Donald Dress prior to Ati this time the newly elected Council members took their seats at the Council Mayor Devlin called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm followed by a payer and Mayor Devlin asked for nominations for the Office of President. Jerry Bowman Mayor Devlin asked ift there were any other nominations. There being none, On unanimous voice vote. Jerry Bowman wast the newly elected Council Bauer was absent. There being none, On unanimous voice vote Thomas Gordon was elected' Vice President. On motion of Montz/Roeder Council reenacted all Borough taxes. On motion of Roeder/Montz Council reappointed Kaitlyn Tinari as Borough Gordon was nominated for Vice President by Montz. nominations were closed. OTHER BUSINESS: Secretary. ADMINISTRATION: With the recent election results Donald Dress accepted the 4 year term seat and declined the 2 year term seat. Council declared a vacancy for a 2 year term seat. On motion of Gordon/Montz council appointed John Williams to filli the vacant 2 Solicitor Semanchik gave an update on the publicauction for 203-205 Center Avenue, on motion of Montz/Gordon Council approved the highest bid in the year term seat. amount of $20,000 for the property.
