Truck committees have been chosen, starting new truck committee meetings in October. Jess asked what made response times go down - Roger stated it could be if there are a lot of Annual pump hose and ariel testing will be done at the end of September, early October. End August, first full week in September Roger will be out, Chief Hertzog from Catty will be in  back-to-back calls, they respond from one right to another. 9/16-Associated Fire will be here to test extinguishers.  charge. PUBLIC WORKS REPORT- John Yanek- - absent RECREATION COMMITTEE REPORT -N Michele Hazzard  Last Wednesday was the end of summer program w/family night, there was a backpack raffle There will be a community night held on 8/24 from 4pm to 10pm with Third Hand Trio and  and wiffleball under lights. Michele thanked Ofc. Safadi for participating. Common Bond. There will be food trucks and snack stand open. LAW COMMITTEE REPORT- Michele Hazzard - no report. PUBLIC PROPERTY & PARKS REPORT Jessica Cope no report.  PUBLIC SAFETY-POLICE - Michael Macsisak  Mike wants to see if we can get a price for crime watch or neighborhood watch signs. POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT- Chief Wolfer fori their assistance on al barricaded subject call.  Chief Wolfer read and the Mayor presented accommodations for Sgt. Tramonte and Ofc. Safadi Chief Wolfer discussed the Firewall update quote from Stratix. Tasha asked that they hold until  next meeting for approval. 3h handicap parking requests:  1316 3rd  MOTION:  By Adam Landis to approve handicap parking at 1316 3rd Street. 2nd by  Dan Snyder. He also mentioned that the SRO officer, Mike Renner, started today and we already received a compliment that he is proactive and positive. The school will provide a cell phone. Chief mentioned he and Roger will go evaluate the SRO office set up, Mayor said he would like to go  rental unit sign needs to be removed ift tenant is no longer there.  along. NEW BUSINESS-  There was a resident online -S she asked a question about the field off of Breinigs Lane, owned by the airport - asked if a solar farm was going in. She lives across the street ini the new development and is concerned. Tasha offered to  email her the minutes from the meeting where this was discussed. Discussed the hire of Patricia Tillman, interviewed by Pam and Tasha, 2nd interview by Pete. Strong customer service skills, ability to multi-task, computer skills, we think she will be a good  fit.
