Need to add a vote for Resolution to the. Agenda for the contribution to the police pension fund remaining at $0 for the police department fori this year. MOTION: By Mark Gioielli to amend the agenda to vote on resolution #369 regarding the police contribution to the pension plan. 2nd by Michele Hazzard. Noa additional discussion, all in favor. Annette explained every year we need to approve a resolution stating what the contribution to the MMO fori the Police Pension fund willl bei for the following year. In 2023, the contribution will be $0, it was discussed that in the future that may change. Zoning Hearing Board North Catasauqua and New Image Enterprise decision Tasha read a summary of the decision which stated that the court upheld the zoning hearing board decision. PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR REPORT - Travis Brett- no report John mentioned there were two snowflakes with issues, one out and one blinking. Travis said he was aware of both and working on it. John stated he once again has received multiple positive comments about the park and town decorations and everyone agree. Classes and training completed by personnel for 2022. Dan asked what malicious fire calls are. Roger replied several things get classified under this, for example burnt toast, does not necessarily mean it was intentional. John mentioned the report is only through November and there is 6 pages of hours and certifications, that is impressive, het thanked Roger and the department for doing a good job. O'Donnell completed Crisis Intervention Team Instructor training Chief Wolfer discussed that Ofc. Douglas worked to be able to remove 12 vehicles from the impound this week and 4 more due to move on Friday. Ofc, Hazim is moving to Phase 11 of his training, doing very well. Mark asked how the procedure with the bus patrol is going - Chief Wolfer stated that it went live mid-October and they have had 5 violations sO far. We check the system once a week, officer will review, video shows vehicle info, driver, etc. We hit approve and they issue citation. John asked that Chief Wolfer provide a summary end ofy year report similar to what Roger provided in. January as well. RECREATION COMMITTEE REPORT - Michele Hazzard no report Dan asked why no Christmas carols at the tree lighting. Liked when they handed out flyers with the words and everyone sang. Discussed that schedule changed due to rain date, the Catasauqua band had another commitment and the college kids were back in school on Monday. Dan said maybe we can look to bring that back next year. Steven Goudsouzian - no report COUNCIL PRESIDENT REPORT- Peter Paone - absent NEW BUSINESS Annette-i informed council that our insurance costs were down over $900, large in part to Chief Wolfer for all the standard operation procedures and training and to Chief Scheirer with our ISO rate dropping, both departments strongly contributed tot this.
