NEWVILLE BOROUGH ECONOMICDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY  REGULAR MONTHLY MIEETING MINUTES WEDNESDAY,JANUARY17,2024  The regular monthly meeting of the Newville Borough Economic Development Authority was held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in the Newville Borough Office at 4 West Street, Newville, Pennsylvania. The meeting was called to order at 7:021 P.M.b by Chairman Andrea Green. Thei invocation was offered by Marcus McKnight, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Onroll call, the following members were present: Andrea Green, Chairman; Vince Mellott, Vice Chairman; Kenneth Tuckey; Richard Gobin; and Liz Knouse. Also present: Solicitor Marcus A. McKnight, III, Esquire, JeffB Bouder, Bob Kanc, and Jack Erikson, liaison from Borough Council. Minutes: The minutes of the November 15, 2023, meeting of the Newville Borough Economic Development Authority were discussed. The minutes were approved unanimously. Treasurer's Report: The Budget was tabled as well as the Treasurer's Report for the end Approval to Pay Bills: The following bill was approved for payment by the Treasurer of  of2023 until the February meeting.  the EDA Board:  Irwin & McKnight, P.C. November Bill  $225.00  The EDA Board members unanimously approved the payment oft this bill.  Transfer oft the Authority's Bank. Accounts from. Adams County National Bank to F&M: Bank was  continuing.  Election of Officers:  Andrea Green is willing to continue as Chairperson for at least six (6) months. Ken Tuckey was absent but agreed to continue as Treasurer. Vince Mellott Vice Chairman - hei is willing to continue as Vice Chairman.  Liz Knouse agreed to serve as Secretary.  All: four (4)individuals were unanimously voted by the Board to continue to serve this year for the  Newville EDA.  1    Old Business: NONE. New Business: NONE  Project Update: Projects for Grant applications were briefly discussed. We will seek to investigate projects for 2024. We need to decide which projects should be undertaken by the Borough ofNewville or the Newville EDA. This will be addressed at our February meeting. The  5K Run is set for May 18, 2024. There was noj public comment.  Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 7:56 p.m. The next meeting is set for  Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at' 7:00 p.m. in the Newville Borough Hall.
