-1-  EAST BERLIN BOROUGH COUNCIL 128 Water Street, East Berlin, PA 17316  Call to Order: The regularly scheduled monthly meeting oft the East Berlin Borough Council began with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7:001 PM led by Chris Warner, Council President on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the East Berlin Members Present: Chris Warner, Robbie Teal, Judith Salomon, Charles Philips, Gregery Green, Heather Gentzler and  Borough Hall. The Solicitor presented a draft Resolution for the Council's consideration regarding Right-to-Know Law The Solicitor will follow-up on Borough Council stipend increase regulations during future meetings.  phishing e-mails. Administrator's Report:  Approval of the Minutes: Committee Reports: Finance: Roberta Teal:  Judith Salomon motioned to accept thel May 8, 2024, Meeting Minutes with minor correction, second by Council acknowledged receipt of the Profit & Loss Statement as well as the Summary of Accounts. Roberta Teal motioned to pay the May bills in the amount of $76,962.59, second by Gregery Green. Motion Council acknowledged the ARP Fund bank account closure due to: final liquidation of those assets when  Charles Philips. Personnel - Chris Warner:  Council acknowledged the Mayoral Proclamation dated June 9, 2024 in regards to the Beaver Colony Yard Sale Roberta Teal motioned the: appointment of James Zerfing Building Code Official of Middle Department Inspection Agency (MDIA) effective July 1,2024. This change is due to the impending retirement and business closure ofLand & Sea Services / Wilbur Slothour, motion second by Gregery Green. Motion carried. Judith Salomon motioned updating all Borough documentation to include Juneteenth and Indigenous Persons Day as observed holidays within the Borough, second by Charles Philips. Motion carried. John Schlaline Planning Commission Chairman spoke regarding pothole repairs within the Borough and Traffic  Constituents /Guests Present:  Calming within the Borough.
