1- 128 Water Street East Berlin, PA 17316  EAST BERLIN BOROUGH COUNCIL  Callt to Order: The regularly scheduled monthly meeting oft the East Berlin Borough Council began with the Pledge of Allegiance at 7F PM by James LeVan, Council President on Wednesday, July 13,2022, at the East Members Present: James LeVan, Roberta Teal, Charles Krall, Chris Warner, Judith Salomon, Heather  Berlin Borough Hall.  Gentzler, Donald Dixon, and Mayor-Stephanie Haley  Members Absent: none  Also Present: Secretary/Ireasurer Cindy Smith  Approval of Agenda: Charles Krall motioned approval second by Chris Warner. Motion carried.  Executive Session: none  Solicitor Battersby's Report: none Constituents /Guests: none  Approval of the Minutes: Roberta Teal motioned to accept the June 8, 2022, Meeting Minutes, second by  Heather Gentzler with minor grammatical correction. Motion carried.  Mayor read and reviewed the following: The Speed Sign report. Mayor's Report Resolution Adoption: Motion carried. Dixon. Motion carried. Committee Reports: Finance: Roberta Teal  Pennsylvania State Police activity report as related to the Borough.  The. June 2022 Borough Police report.  Roberta Teal motioned to adopt 07-2022-03 ARP Supplemental. Appropriations. second by Chris Warner. Charles Krall motioned to adopt 07-2022-04 Fire Department Federal Surplus Funds, second by Donald  Council acknowledged receipt oft the Profit & Loss Statement as well as the Summary of Accounts. Charles Krall motioned toj pay the June bills totaling 16,939.73, second by Heather Gentzler.  Motion carried.    -2-  Chris Warner read and reviewed the following:  Maintenance / Streets - Borough Maintenance Report provided by Bob Meminger  Planning /Zoning - Planning Commission Minutes  Emergency Management Report Emergency Services Report  Personnel:  James LeVan reported that the Personnel Committee continues diligent work to staffing the upcoming open Borough Maintenance Position which will be vacated by long-time employee Bob Meminger.  Parks and Recreation: Correspondence:  Mayor Haley acknowledged receipt and reviewed the Parks & Recreation report.  Training and Webinars available Adams County Office of Aging Adams County Humane Society Adams County Library System  Acknowledged receipt oft the following ARP (American Rescue Proceeds) Thank You letters:  The next meeting is scheduled for August 10, 2022, 71 PM at the Borough Hall.
