The meeting was opened by Charles Krall President, Pro-Tem with the Members Present: Roberta Teal, Charles Krall, Chris Warner, Judith Salomon, Heather Gentzler and Also Present: Mayor-Stephanie Haley, Solicitor-Matthew Battersby and ecretaty/reasurer-cmay Smith Approval of Agenda: Judith Salomon motioned to approve the Agenda second by Donald Dixon. Motion Pledge of Allegiance at 7:001 PM. Donald Dixon Members Absent: James LeVan carried. Re-Appointment: (omitted from the January 3, 2022, re-organizational meeting.) Planning & Development, second by Heather Gentzler. Motion carried. Donald Dixon motioned to re-appoint Borough Zoning Officer, Rob Thaeler of Adams County Solicitor Battersby's Report: Updated Council regarding continued drainage problems on Park Road and his ongoing communications Explained to the Mayor the emergency VS. non-emergency phone call/ /message structure within Adams County and how it relates to communication with Borough ChiefofPolice, Officer Seitz. The Solicitor stated that he is reviewing the commercial refuse bid information for commercial refuse The Solicitor reported that the Borough owns the Old Firehouse Building. Roberta Teal motioned for continued discussions of future plans for the old Fire House Building, second by Judith Salomon. Motion carried. Roberta Teal motioned to table additional discussion on the Fire House Building until with the Borough Engineer. (trash) hauling. the April Council meeting, second by Judith Salomon. Motion carried. January 3, 2022, second Mayor Haley reviewed the speed sign report Mayor Haley read the January 2022 - Borough Police report. Committee Reports: Finance: Roberta Teal Council acknowledged receipt of the Profit & Loss Statement as well as the Summary of Accounts. Roberta Teal motioned toj pay the. January bills totaling $18.815.46, second by Heather Gentzler. Motion carried. 2- Chris Warner - read and reviewed the following: Maintenance / Streets - Review of Borough Maintenance Report from Bob Meminger Planning/ /Zoning - Planning Commission Minutes Emergency Management Report Emergency Services Report Personnel: Donald Dixon motioned for re-appointment ofHanna Furst to the Parks & Recreation Commission for an additional 3-year term, second by Heather Gentzler. Motion carried. Donald Dixon motioned for aj pay increase to $20.00 per hour to subcontractor, Chris Teal, Borough Maintenance beginning retroactively to January 7, 2022, second by Chris Warner. Motion Charles Krall noted that James LeVan is actively pursuing Zoning Hearing Board Members. carried. Roberta Teal abstained from the vote.
