Motion carried. Solicitor Battersby's Report: Solicitor Battersby reported during the Executive Session regarding the potential for disposition oft the Old Fire House Building. Constituents/Guest: Thomas Teal, pending part-time, seasonal, contractual employee Reverend Julia Beall, Zwingli United Church of Christ voiced complaints regarding EBACC blocking Robin Heyser EBACC: responded to Reverend Beall's complaints. An agreement was mutually reached between Reverend Beall and Robin Heyser to work with each other in future event planning, John Schlaline spoke during the Planning /Zoning Reporting portion of the meeting. Charles Krall, Council Member and a representative of the Lion's Club presented Chief Seitz with an Appreciation of Service plaque for his assistance with the annual Borough holiday light installation North Avenue during yard-sale event. therefore avoiding traffic problems. and removal for annual storage. James LeVan introduced Thomas Teal as a pending part-time, contractual, seasonal, employee Charles Krall motioned to increase the Contractual Employee pay scale as follows, Bruce Kehr increased to eighteen dollars per hour, Kelly Reinhold increased to eighteen dollars per visit, John Schlaline increased to six dollars per visit for the 2023 calendar year, second by Roberta Teal. Motion Roberta Teal motioned to appoint Keller Engineers as Borough Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO), Council acknowledged receipt of the Profit & Loss Statement as well as the Summary of Accounts. Through advice given by Solicitor Battersby, a consensus was reached to advertise the upcoming schedule for the East Berlin Borough Ordinance Committee regarding Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) update.
