Also Present: Solicitor Matt Battersby and Administator/lreasurer Cindy Smith Solicitor Battersby's Report: Solicitor Battersby presented the draft and proposed version ofTransient Business Ordinance. Roberta Teal motioned the Public Notice advertisement ofs said Transient Business Ordinance ini its entirety for public comment and contemplated adoption during the April 12th meeting, second by Charles Krall. Steve Haley requested permission toj provide documentation to Cindy Smith, Borough Administrator to draft various update letters addressed to adjoining Municipalities upon Borough letterhead with subjects relating tol East Berlin Borough Park improvements. Council and Solicitor Battersby John Schlaline, Planning Commission Chairman spoke regarding updating the current East Berlin Motion carried. Constituents /Guests: supported this activity. Committee Reports: Personnel-James) LeVan With thel Personnel Committees recommendation, Charles Krall motioned to re-appoint Amy Burns to Charles Krall motioned tol hire Wayne Smith, Independent Contractual Ordinance Officer. Mr. Smith will work on an as needed basis with at a rate of $50.00 per hour, second by Roberta Teal. Motion the Park & Recreation Commission, second by Roberta Teal.
