Christmas message and  reading Committee Reports  Planning and Zoning (Councilor Mike Gale)  Planning Commission- No new business Zoning Hearing Board-No new business Code Enforcement- citation issued to 306 Burke ave are encouraged to check it out.  Danielle updated the borough website with a borough directory, all residents  Public Safety (Councilor Jim Glenn)  Police Department Report-will report at regular meeting Fire Department Report-will report at regular meeting Board of Health-meeting tomorrow 7pm for their November/December Emergency Management- will report at regular meeting.  meeting.  Communications (Councilor Jared Brennan)  Telecommunications Advisory Board-will report at regular meeting. Wants to bring forward the boards recommendation to not fix the telecommunication system due to the cost of the system. Jared believes this is not what we should be doing. He wants to continue to work with another company that  gave a smaller quote to fix the play back. Bamstomers-Chnstmas plays and plays for January. Seniors Groups- will report at regular meeting. Recreation Board- will report at regular meeting.  Recreation (Councilor Samantha Snow)    Recycling/Trash- J.P Mascaro is the new hauler for 2018-2019. Sam will get with Danielle to forward questions from the Trash/Recycling committee about  the new contract.  School Board-no new news, they reorganized last night.  Parks & Properties (Councilor Michele Endriss-Dalessio)  Highway Department-Snow removal (chances ofi it on Friday) The Highway is Ridley Park Business Association-Santa comes to town, 300-400 people Shade Tree Committee- will report at regular meeting. Sam asked if residents are responsible for paying for replacement trees for the sidewalks, ori if the borough pays for that. Shellie stated that in the past trees were donated but Mike asked about the trees that was removed on Glenloch, Aspluhnd removed that tree but did not take the tree itself. The highway department will  still collecting leaves attended  Ridley Park Athletic Club- will report at regular meeting.  they are not anymore. remove the tree when able.  Public Relations (Councilor Dan Broadhurst)  Library Board-no meeting, will report at regular meeting.  Historical Commission-trying to get a quote on the shutters for the pump house. Dan stated that $66,000 was in the budget, Jim stated that there were several bills that came out of that line item including the removal of the  fountain and the dam clean up. Historical Society-no meeting H.A.R.B. Committee-no meeting  Finance & Personnel (Council President Bob Berger)-ABSENT  Finance Contracts CDCA Grants  Main Streets of Ridley Park  Public Comment  Sara McGraw-303 Burke Ave  Here about the trailer at 306 Burke Ave- the trailer is a huge eye sore and makes the block look terrible. She wants to make sure that the borough keeps eyes on the issue at Burke Ave. Was told in an e-mail that the citation was issued and that it was in district court. She wants to know what is in the citation. Mike read the citation. She is urging  that council keeps up on this. Steve Maytrick-610 Haverford Rd  Owns 700 Haverford Rd, he has an issue with his taxes. There was a fire and the county did an intern tax decrease and the county sent an intern tax increase. Sam asked that since the last meeting how many times has he called. He stated that he called 3-4 times. He says every time he calls he always get an answering machine. He    wanted to know if council could answer these questions since he can't get ahold of the tax collector. He is unable to get ahold of anyone at the school district either.  Mike Dougherty-315 Burke Ave  Mike is asking if the code enforcer is able to come to the meetings? Mike Gale stated  the he is planning an open house for the spring of next year.  Sandy Hess- 317 Burke Ave  In regard to what her neighbors said she is confused. Why is there another citation going out if there were two that went out over the summer. Mike stated that the reason the first citation was held was due to the zoning hearing board. The code enforcer stated he issued a citation when in fact one was not. We also tried to work with the homeowner but, that fell through at the last minute. Was the homeowner given the citation? Mike stated it all depends on the courts, it can take the court 2-3 weeks, plus Telecommunications, she believes that it should run like it use to, on the scheduled  hearings.  hours.
