POINT MARION ROTARY CLUB  District 7330 Club # 5244  P.O. Box 157 Point Marion, PA  September 10, 2024  Point Marion Area Organizations, Business and Churches:  The Annual Point Marion Community Autumn Parade will bel held on' Tuesday evening, October29,2024, Thel Point Marion Rotary Club, once again, has accepted the task of coordinating thel Parade and costume judging activities that follow the parade. Members ofthel Rotary Club will organize andj participate int thej parade, as well as arrange for the judging oft the costumes and award prizes. Also, they will package and distribute the  beginning at 6:001 P.M.  treats to the mummers and band members who participate in the activities.  Many volunteers from the community have helped a great deal with this fall event in the past years, and will do sO again this year. Volunteer judges and members ofthel Fire and Police Departments who help with the parade arej just ai few ofthe many people that are needed to make this activity sO successful for our area children  year after year.  Organizations, businesses andi individuals in years past have also contributed donations for thej purpose of buying the candy and treats that will be distributed to the youngsters. Due to the wonderful participation oft the area children we once again will prepare over. 300 treat bags, with any extra treats being donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Morgantown. Also, treats will be distributed to each of the marching units or bands that participate in the parade. Your support in helping with the cash awards for costumes, or the purchase of candy,  chips and other treats is needed, and will be very much appreciated.
