Any items presented to the' Thrall City Council are considered informational only and may result in placement on a future agenda for discussion and consideration. During this time the Thrall City Council may hear your concerns but may not respond to any comments and will defer to City Staff. Those wishing to speak during this time must complete an Orange Sign In Card and present to the City Secretary prior to the beginning of the meeting. Reguladores LEMC/Caballo de Hierro Chapter to present check to the City of Thrall for Reguladores LEMC/Caballo de Hierro Chapter presented a check for $3000.00 to the City of Thrall in support of the Thrall Police Department's Blue Santa program. The City thanked them for all their support as well as Chief for his hard work to the Mayor Marx moved agenda item 5.1 and 5.21 before the Consent Agenda Items. a donation to the Blue Santa program. program and helping the children in our community. 4. CONSENT AGENDA ITEMS The Consent Agenda items listed below are considered to be routine by the Thrall City Council and will be enacted by one motion. Consideration and possible action regarding a variance request to Ordinance No. 20150520 Article 2 B and C for the placement of the front door from Leticia Perez for Commissioner Walla made a motion to accept the variance for 220 Castro as presented by Leticia Perez for the front door with a second by Commissioner Dubec. the meeting. Consideration and possible action regarding a variance request to Ordinance No. 2017- 0726 Section 2 Square Feet, Ordinance No. 2014-0910 Section 2 Setbacks and Ordinance No. 2015-0520 Article 2B& CI Front Entrance from Scott Senteney for property located Commissioner Walla made a motion to deny agenda item 5.2 for variances seconded at 101 S. Barker Street, Lot1, Lot 2 and Lot 3. by Commissioner Dubec. Motion carried 3-0. Scott Senteney was present and available for questions or concerns. 5.3. Consideration and possible action regarding the September financials. With no additions or corrections from Council, Mayor Marx approved as presented. 5.4. Consideration and possible action regarding the Employee Christmas Party. Council directed staff to set up the Christmas party in December to be held at Thrall Country Diner as well as instructions regarding the Christmas in the Park event set for Dec 1st, no action taken. Commissioner Dubec made a motion to accept item 5.5 as presented by the Mayor with as second by Commissioner Walla. Motion carried 3-0. 6. EXECUTIVE SESSION Thrall City Council adjourned from its regular session and convened into Closed/Executive Session at 7:58 p.m., to discuss the following Item(s), pursuant to Texas 6.1.
