Attorney MINUTES OFTHE MONTHLYWORK: SESSION July: 24, 2023, 6:00 p.m. 215 McNaughton St PRESENT: Chairman Coffey Vice-Chairman Biddlé Commissioner, Douglas Commissioner Hoyte Commissioner: Frost Kenneth Riner, County Manager Lisa Bickel, County Clerk Chairman Coffey called the Monthly Work Session oft the Commission ofthe Unified Government of Cissete-Chatrahoohee County, Georgia to order at 6:00 p.m., with all other Commissioners present. County Manager Updates County Manager Kenneth Riner advised the Commission that the County is awaiting approval ofthe State for the: fuel points. Chairman Coffey stated everything has been approved from the fire marshal and the commission previously approved the amount of $250,000. Since thé approval the ratel has gone up to $321,850. Commissioner Douglas asked ift thei new proposal would come with a generator? The County Manager advised that this does noti include a generator, but Gas and Gol has a generator on site and we would have access to the fuel and gas if we needed to. Commission would like to see pricing of generators added to next Work Session. County. Attorney Updates The County. Attorney was not] present and did not] provide the Commission nor the County Manager with any updates. Department Director: provided an update for the recreation department. bei ini tomorrow and willl be able toj provide an update. 07.24.2023 Work Session 1 "Samantha Hedgecoke Community Development Director: Samantha provided a packet with updates fori the Community Development Department. Part of Samantha's packet included updating the pricing oft the alcohol ordinance. She included surrounding counties pricing with populations. The Commission did agree with Samantha that our current pricing was high and asked! ifs she had a proposal for what its should be at. Samantha had aj proposed list from a previous county manager. The Commission greed with the list for our county, would like to see a new draft written up with the proposed changes by the *Russell Rhodes- Water Department Director: provided an update fori the Water Department Mohammed Khan- Public Works Department: provided an update for the Public Works Department next Work Session fora 1st read. *Amanda Beaver- E-911 Director: provided an update for the E-911 Department. *Lou Beck- Ft. Moore Stray Facility: Lou was not available to attend the meeting. Speakers Agenda Items The following items were discussed as to their relevance for appearance on the August 1, 2023 regular meeting agenda: Cemcteries.Chaiman Coffey advised that the group: met and the submitted their minutes from their meeting.
