BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS  MINUTES SEPTEMBER 4, 2024  The Board of County Commissioners meeting began in work session at 8:00 AM. Those present  were. Dave Hornung, Stan Hitchcock, Cory Wall, Susan Corliss, Theresa Korbelik.  In-Person Schedule - Commissioners Board Room  8:00 AM - Work Session  Commissioner Meeting to convene with Pledge of Allegiance  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited at 9:00 AM. Those present were Dave Hornung, Cory  Wall, Stan Hitchcock, Theresa Korbelik, Susan Corliss, and Brandon Beechley.  9:00. AM -) Brandon Beechley - Landfill 2025 Budget Work session review of budget request. 9:30 AM-] Pam Mills Treasurer Budget Work session review of budget request. Work session review of budget request.  10:00 AM-s Susan Corliss - Clerk & Recorder and Elections 2025 Budgets 10:30 AM-Jennifer Gribble - Department ofl Human Services  Work session review of new hire application. Hiring process will continue.  11:00 AM-Jeff Cure County Attorney  Final discussion was held on setting the terms of sale for the Stratton Transfer Site. The auction will be conducted by the Treasurer's office on November 19th at 10:00 AM for 80 acres+/- with a minimum bid of $50,000 then bids in increments of $1,000. Earnest money of $1,000 will be due at the signing of the contract and will be closed on or before 30 days. Advertisement will need the legal description oft the ground as well. Jeff will provide all ofthe necessary information for the treasurer to publish. Discussion was held on the ambulance pay  resolution. 12:00 PM-Lunch  The Board of County Commissioners recessed at 12:20 PM returning at 1:00 PM. Review and Approve Consent Agenda Items  1.A Approve minutes for the August 28th- BOCC & PH and Accounts Payable  Cory Wall moved to approve the August 28th minutes for Board of County Commissioners & Board of Public Health and to pay the Accounts Payable in the amount of $95,223.50, seconded by Stan Hitchcock. The motion passed by unanimous vote by  Dave Hornung.  2. Personnel Items  2.A Orange Sheet - Scott Weikum - New Hire Ambulance Reserve Ambulance  Stan Hitchcock moved to approve the Ambulance Reserve New Hire Orange Sheet for Scott Weikum as a First Responder with Call Pay at $1.10 per hour, Transfers at $150.00, and Other Pay for Weekends at $50.00, Stand By Timea at$15.00, Football Games at $30,00, and Eligible for a Year End Bonus effective September 4, 2024, with a six- month trial period ending March 4, 2025, seconded by Cory Wall. The motion passed by  unanimous vote by Dave Hornung.  FYI:  District Attorney's Office 2025 Proposed Budget - Administration  Work session review of budget request.
