MINUTES OF BUDGET MEETING: July 21, 2022  1. Call to order: Mayor Muska called the meeting to order at 5:351 PM.  2. Roll Call: present council members - Mayor Tommy Muska, Cody Harris, Natalie Kelinske, David Pratka, Joe Pustejovsky, and Steve Vanek were present. Fire Marshal, Harold Pfleiderer 3. Council reviewed the revised budget packet. Harold Pfleiderer went over the EMS budget requests in detail. He and his committee have been meeting with the West EMS regarding the management and financial issues of the EMS and are trying to come up with solutions to help remedy their problems. The council agreed to meet with thel EMS Board ofl Directors and the West Hospital Authority soon to come up with a game plan tol help save the EMS. Interim Police Chief, Ashley Boyd went over his budget requests. The council agreed with most oft the requested items since they were necessities to run the department such as body cameras, vehicle printers, patrol rifles & shotguns for vehicles, uniformsyaccessores, ammunition, training, and handheld laser speed monitors. They are also requesting two new patrol vehicles. Interim Chief Boyd will have cost estimates on these vehicles at next Thursday' 's budget meeting on July 28.  and Interim Police Chief, Ashley Boyd were also in attendance.  4.
