MINUTES OF MEETING: NOVEMBER 20, 2023  Mayor Muska called the special meeting to order at 5:30 pm.  Natalie Kelinske, David Pratka, Cody Harris, Joe Pustejovsky, Matt Miller, and 1. The Canvassing Board consisting of Natalie Kelinske, Matt Miller, and Tommy Muska were called in closed session with the City Attorney, Charles Buenger to canvass/verify the November 7, 2023, general municipal Once out of session, Mayor Muska, the presiding officer of the canvassing authority noted the completion of the canvass of the November 7,2 2023, general municipal election with the following determinations: David Pratka was declared the winner of the mayor election with 273 votes, Joe Pustejovsky had 249 votes. For the City Council Member at large election, Cody Harris was declared the first winner with 218 votes. Chris Nors came inz 2nd with 196 votes; however, he is ineligible due to his voter registration status/failure of being a registered voter in the city at the time of election. The city verified with the McLennan County Election office that Mr. Nors changed his voter registration the day after the election. Mr. Nors will not be able to be sworn in at the December meeting.
