During this time the Thrall City Council may hear your concerns but may not respond to any comments and will defer to City Staff. Those wishing to speak must complete a Green Sign In Card and present the card to the City Secretary prior to the beginning of Mayor Marx pulled item 4.1 and placed it at the end of the agenda for discussion and action due to Ms. Henderson with HPE Civil Engineering was not present and would 4.1. Consideration and possible action regarding a variance request to Ordinance No. 2014- 0910 for setbacks on the existing structure located at 103 W. Beaumont by Daniel Jen Henderson with HPE Civil Engineering presented the variance case to the City Council. The current property is platted as one plat and will be going through the process to replat it into 2 two plats therefore they are requesting a variance for the setbacks on the existing structure. After further discussion, Commissioner Karch made a motion to approve the variance request with the existing structure located at 103 W. Beaumont, and to require the owner to comply with the setbacks whenever the existing structure is removed, demolished, remodeled and/or modified, require future building improvements or modifications to the existing structure be in compliance with the City's building setback requirements and the variance shall be filed for recordation sO it runs with the title of the property with second by 4.2. Consideration and possible action regarding Resolution No. 2022-5-1 canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the at large election for City Commissioner held in Commissioner Walla made a motion to accept the canvassing of the election under Resolution No. 2022-5-1 with a second by Commissioner. Consideration and possible action regarding Resolution No. 2022-5-2 canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the election held in the City of Thrall, Texas, to submit a certain proposition on the question of the reauthorization of sales and use tax for the maintenance and repair of municipal streets under the V.T.C.A, Tax Code, Chapter 327; an effective date of May 7, 2022; a savings clause; and severability clause.
