August 14, 20191 Regular City Council Meeting Minutes Pagelof3 4.2.Consideration and possible action regarding Resolution No. 8-2019-1 adopting the Commissioner Walla made a motion to approve the consent agenda as presented with Williamson County Emergency Operations Plan (The "EOP"). asecond by Commissioner Debuc. Motion carried: 3-0. 5. REGULAR AGENDA ITEMS (Green Sign In Card) This time is reserved for the public to speak to the Thrall City Council after the regular agenda item has been announced for consideration. Those wishing to speak must complete a Green Sign In Card and present the card to the City Secretary prior to the beginning of 5.1. Consideration and possible action regarding a variance request by Brad Leen to Ordinance No. 2014-0910 for property located at 316 Cotton Circle pertaining to the Mayor Marx made a motion to approve the set backs for Brad Leen at 316 Cotton Circle, the variance of the setbacks are for the boat shed not the house, to be 2 feet from the property line, this is a onetime variance, be careful on the next survey, and we have documentation that across the street/across the water way neighbor is not opposing it, we won't have an opposition and we grant a one time of 2 foot for the boat shed with a second by Commissioner Debuc. Motion carried 3-0. Brad Leen with Countryside Estates was present for the variance request and available for any questions or concerns the Council may have. the meeting. Commissioner Debuc made a motion to set the maximum tax rate of $0.627740 with a second by Commissioner Walla. Motion carried 3-0. 7.2.
