RESOLUTION AND ORDER APPROVED - ADOPTI FY24-25 BUDGET- - BUDGET Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Walker to approve the Resolution and Order adopting the budget for fiscal year ending September 30, 2025. Aye: Opposed: Motion carried. Commissioner Walker, Commissioner Riley, and Judge Keough Commissioner Gray 2. PROPERTY TAX RATE INCREASE APPROVED - TAX-ASSESSOR COLLECTOR Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Walker to approve that the property tax rate be increased by the adoption of the tax rate .3790 which is effectively an 8.9% increase in the tax rate. Aye: Opposed: Motion carried. Commissioner Walker, Commissioner Riley, and Judge Keough Commissioner Gray 3. ORDER AND RESOLUTION APPROVED - MAINTENANCE & OPERATION- Motion by Judge Keough, seconded by Commissioner Riley to approve the Resolution and Order that sets and adopts the 2024 Ad Valorem Tax Rate for Maintenance & Operation. The tax rate for 2024 tax year be established at a rate of. .3790 cents per hundred dollars evaluation at 100% market value: that out of the above established tax TAX. ORDER AND RESOLUTION APPROVED - DEBT SERVICE - TAX ASSESSOR Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Walker to approve the Resolution and Order that sets and adopts the 2024 Ad Valorem Tax Rate for Debt Service. The tax rate for 2024 tax year be established at a rate of. .3790 cents per hundred dollars evaluation at 100% market value: that out of the above established tax rate .0445 cents be used for debt service. RESOLUTION AND ORDER APPROVED - 2024 AD VALOREM ADOPTED TAX Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Walker to approve a Resolution and Ordera allocating the 2024 Ad Valorem Adopted Tax Rate for Montgomery County and Directing the Assessment and Collection Thereof. The adopted tax rate of. .3790 cents per one hundred dollars valuation for 2024 for Montgomery County, Texas, be and the same is hereby allocated and fixed for the specific purposes and funds hereinafter listed the respective rates hereinafter set forth; 1. for General Fund purposes, 2906 cents on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) 2. for Road Maintenance Fund purposes. 0439 cents on each one. hundred dollars 3. for Interest and Sinking Fund Purposes, 0.445 cents on each one hundred dollars RATE-TAX ASSESSOR valuation; and ($100.00) valuation; and ($100.00) valuation.
