The motion carried 6-0. 10 Mayor Chacôn announced the fourth item, under Special Agenda: K.4 ORD- 2024-09-16-05: Proposed Property Tax Rate Adoption Ordinance Consider approving Ordinance 2024-09-16-05, approving and adopting a tax rate for fiscal year 2024- 2025 (tax year 2024) and levying taxes to be assessed on all taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of Princeton; and take appropriate action. Councimember Carolyn David-Graves made a motion to move that the property tax rate be increased by the adoption of a tax rate of $0.440226, which is effectively a 5.4 percent increase in the tax rate.
