NOTICE OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARFA  Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Marfa City Council will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 6:00pm in-person at the Casner Room, located in Marfa's City Hall, 113 South Highland Avenue, Marfa Texas 79843. The meeting shall be open to the public at all times during which subjects are discussed, considered, or formally acted upon as required by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Government Code. This Notice of Meeting and Agenda in detail was posted at least 72 hours prior to the beginning of said meeting in a location at City Hall readily accessible to the public at all times and is on the  website www.cityofmarfa.com/meetings  1) Call the meeting to order and establish a quorum.  2) Pledge of Allegiance. 3) Citizen comment period.  Atthis time, any person may address the Council foral limited time concerning any matter and should limit their remarks to a period ofthree minutes. The Councili is not allowed to take action on any subject presented, nor is the Council required to provide any response. As allowed in Texas Attorney General Opinion KP- 0300, all public comments should be presented during this  citizen comment period.
