MINUTES OF THE COMMISSIONERS COURT  REGULAR SESSION SEPTEMBER 17, 2024  BE ITI REMEMBERED, that on the 17h day of September, 2024. A.D. at 10:01 a.m. the Honorable Commissioners Court of Wichita County, Texas met in a regular voting session at the Courthouse in Wichita Falls, Texas pursuant  to adjourning September 10, 2024, with the following members present:  County. Judge Jim Johnson  Commissioner Mark Beauchamp, Precinct No. 1 Commissioner Mickey Fincannon, Precinct No. 2 Commissioner Jeff Watts, Precinct No. 4  Zoom audio and video were made available. for this meeting.  Invocation by Commissioner Fincannon Pledge of Allegiance Pledge to the' Texas Flag Public Comments: 10:03 - 10:05 a.m.  Commissioner Beauchamp announced the asphalt overlay on Old State Road is starting which will take that road Judge. Johnson thanked. Nancy Gregory, Matt Davis and. Jordan Wilson on their hard work in getting the Residential Sqfe Room Rebate Program Grant up and running. for residents of Wichita County.  down to one lane. Motion carried unanimously.  24.0917.580 Motion made by Commissioner Beauchamp and seconded by Commissioner Fincannon to approve the regular bills for payment, verify payroll taxes have been filed, and order County Treasurer to disburse payroll and/or ills within 72 hours via U.S. Mail, FedEx, UPS or electronically unless directed otherwise or may be picked  upa and legered in the Treasurer's Office. Motion carried unanimously.  24.0917.582 Motion made by Commissioner Beauchamp and seconded by Commissioner Fincannon to approve COI Group LLC Omnia quote #R191804 in the amount of $13,361.72 for custom table tops for the 30th District  Courtroom to be paid from Permanent Improvement Fund.  Motion carried unanimously.  Received update on Courthouse Renovations and County Courthouse. Annexes.  Court went into closed session at 10:23 a.m. for Discussions wherein the Commissioners Court will deliberate regarding the employment of Captain Lisa Patterson and Jail Assistant Administrator, Stacie Hankins, for entering pre-file case data into the Odyssey system after their normal employment hours. This session was closed pursuant  to' Tex. Gov't Code Section 551.074 (Personnel Matters).  Court reconvened into open session at 11:20a.m. with the following action:  24.0917.583 Motion made by. Judge. Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Beauchamp to authorize a special project capped at 80 combined hours, at $40/hour, for Capt. Patterson and Lt. Hankins to enter pre-file case data in the Odyssey system after normal employment hours and to have them report back in one month to Commissioners  Court.  Motion carried unanimously.  With no further action taken, Commissioners Court was adjourned at 11:23 a.m. and will meet in a special session  on Friday, September 20, 2024.
