Treasurer Becky McCullough and Sheriff Russ Authier, presented information to the court. Motion was made by Commissioner Conley and seconded by Judge Deen to drop the 4% COLA that we gave the Sheriff's Dept., and go to the step and grade proposal with a 9%1 raise (do away with the COLA, Commissioner Conley amended his motion that the approval be for an 8% raise as opposed to 9%. and just give them a 9% raise). MOTION CARRIED *Motion was made by Commissioner Walden and seconded by Commissioner Holt to approve the $250,000 Radio Tower Cap contingency for the IT department. MOTION CARRIED F.Building & Grounds Projects Budget Requests. Crickett Miller, Elections Administrator, presented information to the court regarding striping for the new part oft the parking lot. The following motions were made: *Motion was made by Commissioner Conley and seconded by Commissioner Hale to fund that project at $179,600. MOTION CARRIED *Motion was made by Commissioner Walden and seconded by Commissioner Hale to add an amount for a used backhoe for the South Convenience Center of $50,000 to add to their budget. MOTION CARRIED *Motion was made by Commissioner Walden and seconded by Commissioner Hale that we allocate $500,000 to Building & Grounds for use in special projects, above and beyond what's already in the budget. MOTION CARRIED *Motion was made by Commissioner Conley and seconded by Commissioner Holt to allocate funds, not to exceed $500,000, for Auto Registration remodel requests.
