Judy Steele went over the following items with the planning commission members: *In: aj previous meeting they had wanted to include the wording that isi in Section 5 about the burnt- out buildings and conforming use in Section 3 but did not see that wording had been included. The wording is in the ordinance for non-conforming use. Conforming use means that is a permitted use for the district they are in. It was the consensus of the members to have it included in the *The list of permitted uses on Page 5: for the Central Business District did not include Hostels and they were asked ifthey wanted to include Hostels as a permitted use. Harry Childress said Hostels are where you rent a bed andi not a room. You could have a big dormitory type ofroom. TJ Fryatt asked if on page: 5 number 22 where he had gotten a special exception to use aj portion ofhis commercial building as residential would he be able to continue to use that portion ofthe building as residential. His exception was that he or his family could use it as residential sO does that go away moving forward and it be just residential. Judy said she would discuss with Susan the best wording for this in the zoning ordinance. *Page thirteen (13) it describes where the Agricultural Districts are located. Need to clarify with Susan how the one thousand feet from the center of the roadway applies to the different districts *On page seventeen (17) Section 11, the Flood Plain District should be called a district or a zone and should there be permitted uses. Need to clarify this section more at the next meeting with Susan is going to review the rest of the ordinance for any updates that need to be made to the Mayor Lambert had asked that the commission review if water or sewer should be allowed to be hooked up to a camper or recreational vehicle in someone's yard. TJ Fryatt also mentioned you a district. in this section. Other business: Doris Rife said there are people living in their vehicle in town and in the ordinance, you cannot livei in a camper, travel trailer, or recreational vehicle. Harry Childress suggested that you include motor vehicles. Also, water and sewer cannot be hooked up to a camper or recreational vehicle.
