New Business: New Truck Estimates = The town received two estimates on the truck bid. An estimate of $102,640 from Diehl's Ford in Accident. The other estimate was received from Team One of Oakland in the amount of $90,860. Diehl's Ford can guarantee the delivery of the vehicle, but Team One cannot at this point in time. Councilmember Hechmer motioned to Accept the bid from Team One if they are able to get the vehicle. If Team One cannot get the vehicle in a timely manner, then we should accept the bid from Diehl's ford. Councilmember Brady Driveway on Race Street - Johnny's Estimate - A resident on Race Street is having issues with therace washing out their driveway. When he contacted the Town Hall about this issue, the resident had already been in contact with. Johnny Hawk, with Hawk Excavating. Beccie reached out to. Johnny to see if he was able to put together an estimate for the job.. Johnny sent the town an estimate in the amount of $6,500 to fix the driveway the way it needs to be fixed. Councilmembers decided to table the discussion, due to the reaction of a few residents in April Meeting - Lions Club is hosting an event at the school on Monday, April 22nd, 2024.
