al McIntosh Town Council Minutes Mcintosh Town Council Meeting Civic Center 5835 Avenue G May 14, 2020 The meeting was called to order with the reciting of the Pledge to the Flag Roll call was taken with Council President Mullikin, Vice President Callahan, Council Member Ciotti, Council Member Roddy, Council Member Dodd, Mayor Hamilton, Attorney Sarah Wolking and Town Manager Nelson presĂȘnt. Consent Agenda Items: All matters listed within the Consent Agenda have been distributed to each member of the Mcintosh Town Council for reading and study, are consideredto be routine, and will be enacted by one motion of the Council with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired, that item may be removed from the Consent Agenda and placed on the Regular Agenda by 1) Minutes of the Town Council Meetings for April 2020 were read. The financial report for April. 2020 Council Member Ciotti made a motion to accept the consent agenda. Council Member Dodd request. Guests: Citizen Comments: Mark Naworensky spoke on behalf of the Citizens Crime Watch Group and asked the council to make the group an official Town of Mcintosh committee. He also asked that group have control over the speed trailer. The request was tabled until June's meeting. A meeting with Crime Citizen Board Committee Updates: Devore announced that the Charter Review had finished reviewing the Charter and presented their changes to council for approval. A workshop is set for May Message from the Town Manager: Nelson noted that the town was working on several code enforcement issues in town. To date, $620 has been spent on code enforcement Watch President Jason Jones was also scheduled with the Nelson. 28 at 6 p.m. Message from the A Attorney: Unfinished Business:. New Business: A. Speedtrailer- Individuals can request where they would like the speed trailer placed via email, B. Schoolsigns- Dodd said that the signs on the school fence were put up for a fundraising event and asked why council wanted to take the signs down. She also requested permission for the signs to remain. Ciotti said the signs were put up without council permission and asked that they be taken down until the school received permission. Ciotti made a motion to defer a decision until the school presented a formal request to council. Roddy seconded. Motion text or call the town office.
