Second reading of Ordinance #11-22 Ordinance amending Section 34-209 of the Town Code of Ordinances. Attorney Christopher Anderson read Ordinance #11-22. An ordinance of the Town of Inglis, Florida, amending Section 34-209 of the town code of ordinances; providing for severability; providing for the preservation of other ordinances; and providing an effective date. Attorney Christopher Anderston stated that the Use of Non-YMCA Facilities Agreement addresses the liability concerns. Motion by Commissioner. Joyce Schwing for the Town of Inglis to renew the South Levy YMCA contract at a rate of $520.00 Per Quarter- - Second by Commissioner Steve Schwing. Vote 2. Discuss back pay request for Fire Department employee. Motion by Commissioner Pat Tullyt to discuss the back pay for Fire Fighter Andrew Casto. He was hired at a rate of $9.50 and it should have been at $11.25. -S Second by Commissioner Isaac' Young. Motion by Commissioner Pat Tully to pay Fire Fighter Andrew Casto $1,758.25 for back pay from 2019-2022. - Second by Commissioner Isaac' Young. Vote taken by Cery Logeman, Town Clerk. Motion by Commissioner Sue Sims to amend the previous motion to combine Item 7 and Item 10 which would allow Mayor White to research the voluntary annexation of the easement onto the ball field property Second by Commissioner Isaac Young. Commissioner, Joyce Schwing asked Attorney Christopher Anderson to comment. Attorney Anderson stated that he doesn't know whati is contemplated by the agenda item. Agendas are part of the notice of whati is going to be on the meeting, but it does not precluded commissioners from bringing up an item even ifiti is not on the agenda. Attorney Anderson states that per Florida Attorney General the guidelines basically state that agendas are good to have, but there is no requirement per Florida law that every meeting has an agenda. Commissioner Joyce Schwing asked for a motion. Mayor White: said a motion had already been made. Commission Joyce Schwing said the motion needed to be amended and Attorney Christopher. Anderson said the amendment can be made by saying "so moved". Commissioner Pat Tullys said "so moved" that any changes or revisions to the agenda will be reviewed by Mayor White prior to meetings.
