Main Street, Bellville, TX with the following present: Tim Lapham, County Judge Mark Lamp, Commissioner, Precinct 1 Robert "Bobby" Rinn, Commissioner, Precinct 2 Leroy Cerny, Commissioner, Precinct 3 Chip Reed, Commissioner, Precinct 4 Andrea Cardenas, County Clerk OPENING CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL AND CERTIFICATION OF QUORUM Workshop began at 9:05 a.m. in Bellville. 1. Bulding/construction Workshop Per Commissioner Reed, spoke with Commissioner Lamp about adding material for Court and Christensen Building Group discussed where to put generator and transformer. Per Commissioner Reed, approving to put four bollards around generator Commissioner Reed requested a quote for 3' sidewalk along the side of building. Instructed Pete Nielsen (Christensen Building Group) do not add until it is approved in There was visible leaking in the building along bottom of the walls at entrance and lounge area. Mold has begun to grow. Per Pete Nielsen (Christensen Building Group), back door has not come in. It will not be in until August 6th. Water came in door opening from rain and ran along bottom of the walls. Will close opening until door is installed. Per Commissioner Reed, need to install lip on bay bathroom shower. walkway to get to building. and four around transformer. Court. Need a quote first. Court wants concrete pads with bollards for generator and transformer and add concrete to give more of a walkway at entrance of building. Workshop recessed at 10:19 a.m. Workshop reconvened at 10:41 a.m. in Industry. Generac is working to get generator. Per Michael Moher (Christensen Building Group), next week will work on apparatus bay floor. Will shop blast and coat. Will cost $4,700 in addition to $2,000 already spent on floor sealant. Cost is less than Wallis due to having to redo the floor in Wallis station. Due to Bellville having more floor space, shop blast and epoxy will cost $5,900, with Per Daniel Sanchez (Shellback Construction), trades messed up the floor and now have to correct. Commissioner Reed inquired if they should expect the same in Bellville. Per Michael Moher (Christensen Building Group), the floor in Bellville has been better taken care of than Industry. Commissioner Reed inquired if Christensen Building Group and Burns Architect will pay for cost of epoxy. Per Michael Moher (Christensen Building Group), Burns Architect did not have anything to do with the floor. Will epoxy and shop Commissioner Rinn inquired what will happen with water fountains Court chose not to install. Per Daniel Sanchez (Shellback Construction), should have received credit. Per Michael Moher (Christensen Building Group), fountains belong to Christensen Building $3,900 already in budget for cleaning and sealing. blast. Group and will try to get a credit. Commissioner Reed inquired if a RFI (Request for Information) will need to be done. Michael Moher (Christensen Building Group) and Jonathan Anderson (Burns Architect) not letting water out. is the same company used at Wallis station. Laundry Room does not have a 12" turnaround like it should. confirmed will need to do a RFI. 2 Daniel Sanchez (Shellback Construction) noticed 7" concrete thickened beams around light duty concrete which made him inquire if Engineer intended for there to be a slab and concrete all around. One drawing showed 7" of concrete while another drawing Walter Morrow (EMS Director) informed Christensen Building Group shower curtains are 3" too short in Industry and Wallis. Also, cleaners did not seal or wax floors where Per Daniel Sanchez (Shellback Construction), new tiles are a different color than Per Michael Moher (Christensen Building Group), floors still need to be recleaned.
