City of Saluda Board of Commissioners  BOC Special Called Meeting Minutes  ONI  Date Time Location 1-0 Call to Order  11/28/2022 06:00 PM  Microsoft Teams Meeting; Saludal Library Chambers Room  Mayor Morgan called the meeting to order on November 28+h, ,2022,at6 6:00pm  2-Roll Call Pamela Waters.  Attendance was taken, and those present were Mayor Morgan, Commissioner Talbot, Commissioner Walker, Commissioner Marion, Commissioner Oxtoby, Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer. Julie Osteen, and City Clerk  3-B Budget and Financial Report  Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer. Julie Osteen went over the audit report. Shel brought somethings to their attention ify you will go to the letter 1stt this is a required communications from the Auditor as required byt the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) all this letter states is that the Financial statement disclosures are neutral, Consistent and clear. The auditors did not have anyi issues with the audit or getting any documentation requested. The Auditors' report was an unmodified opinion. The City added tot fund balancei for both the water and sewer fund and the general fund. 230,228.00 from the water ands sewer department and added 278,543.001 to the general fund. Ini the sewer department there was al loss of 14,581.00 and a gain in the water department of Commissioner Oxtoby made a motion to accept the Audit Report as presented Commissioner walker  244,809.00. Copies of the audit are available upon request.  seconded all were in favor. 4-A Adjourn  With no further business to discuss, Commissioner Oxtoby made a motion to adjourn the meeting  Commissioner Marion seconded and all were in favor.
