Saluda Strategic Plan Workshop Meeting  August 19, 2024, at! 5:30  Meeting called to order at 5:30 by Tangie Morgan  In Attendance was Tangie Morgan, Melanie Talbot, Gary Heisey, Stanley Walker, Mark Oxtoby, Paul Gary Heisey from the Henderson County' Vision Leadership Program started the meeting off with a  Marion  version of our compiled changes from the last meeting. We worked on our sub sections of our Proposed Strategic Plan Our Mission Statement, Our Vision, and Our Values  Gary Heisey provided al handout of a rough outline ofa Strategic Plan. He then asked the group tog go We also went through our 3-year focus plan areas which included some oft these proposed items:  through each section.  1. Saluda Grade Trail 2. Phase 3 and 4 of McCreery Park  3. Exploring a water merger with City of Hendersonville 4, Reorganization of City Administration and Department Structure 5. Community Sidewalks Capital Improvement Plan 6. 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan  7. Creation of Economic-Business Development advisory group and special tax district Gary plans to provide a draft oft the changes that the group made at our next meeting.  The next work session is set for Tuesday, September 10 at 5:30 PM: at the Saluda Library to continue  developing the Saluda Strategic Plan. Stanley' Walker made a motion to Adjourn.
