Cullen explained how to search for and view property tax data on the Haywood County Alderman Jim Owens asked if the inflated market or "bubble" would play a role in the assessment. Mr. L. Cullen said the General Statutes requires the County to be at 100% of market value. Regular grease trap pumping and maintenance is the key to keeping these problems to a minimum. All food handling businesses are required to have grease-removing equipment installed and to maintain records of cleaning and maintaining their equipment.
