Copies of her application have been provided to Board members, and the Board can give final approval to the appointment or can nominate other individuals to fill the vacancy. At the August 19, 2024 Commissioner meeting, the Board approved expansion of the current golf cart ordinance to include Pine Lakes and Pine View Subdivisions. Since this is a "police power" type of ordinance, it had to receive unanimous approval on its first vote. Because one Board member was not in attendance at the last meeting, it was brought forward to this agenda where a simple majority B. The public feedback will be discussed with the Opioid Settlement Funds Advisory Committee, and the final recommendations will be brought back to the Board for approval.
