Summerville High School Girls Softball Team State Champions, Juneteenth, and Bike/Walk Summerville Month. WEB SITE PRESENTATION Chris Makowski, the Town's Public Information Officer, presented the newly revamped Town of Summerville Economic Development webs site. The: motion carried Town Engineer Bonnie Miley explained that the Arbor Walk HOA: requested ai three way stop sign on Goldfinch and Dolphin Drive, because residents are concerned with the speeding there. She reported that the Summerville Police Department did a speed study there, but that the findings did: not warrant a stop sign for traffic calming purposes. Some discussion followed. Ms. Garten-Schmidt made ai motion, seconded byl Ms.. Johnson-Wilson, to approve the requested stop signs and crosswalk at the intersection. Mr. Browni made ai motion, seconded by Mr. Waring, to approve a Memorandum of Understanding with First Citizens Bank fort the sponsorship and naming rights oft the splash pad at Doty Park. The motion Ms. Johnson-Wilson: made ai motion, seconded by Mr. Waring, to accept the agreement with Gilbert and Lee Construction for boring under the' Town's parking garage as related to the renovation of118 West Richardson Avenue. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Mr. Waring made a1 motion, seconded by Ms. Johnson-Wilson, to enter into Executive Session to discuss Personnel matter: related to appointments to Construction and Code Board of Appeals The motion carried unanimously, and Council entered into Executive Session at 7:02pm.
