The purpose of our meeting is to go through our department heads, our borough manager, our council members and our solicitor to see if anybody has anything that they would like on the agenda for the upcoming meeting which will be Tuesday, December 20th. We'11 start with our DPW manager, Joe Lenceski. Joe, anything for the agenda for the upcoming meeting? MR. LENCESKI: Nothing for the agenda. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Anybody have MR. NOTARI: When will we begin any questions for Joe? doing cold patching? Will that happen : MR. LENCESKI: I'm hoping to get some of that done this week. MR. NOTARI: I'm only asking because there's a hole in my street. I'm sure there's many holes throughout the borough. MR. LENCESKI: I need to get on 3 that. With everything going on with the holidays. Definitely. Usually this week is paper and cardboard, which is a lot quicker than the commingle. Therefore, it allows us to have more time, especially with no snow events. MR. HOOVER: Couple houses in my subdivision that still have yard waste laying out. MR. LENCESKI: I'11 send the guys out to pick miscellaneous yard waste. Even though we closed out doing yard waste before Thanksgiving, because of us having Thanksgiving and Black Friday off they've been continuing for the sake of having it in the yard until spring. MR. LOPATKA: Did I send you guys that form? I sent it to Marylynn, the form Iwas looking for for the -- I guess it's a survey of - MR. FEBBO: You said you were getting something out there about a month ago but I didn't get anything yet. MR. LOPATKA: I sent it. MS. LOPATKA: I sent that because I think the initial thing we talked about was doing a survey with local businesses. That was the first thing on the agenda. I found the actual form on the DEP website. Idid send it to Marylynn. I'17 send it again. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: We have to do a survey of the businesses on Lonesome Road, get their background, get their history. MR. LOPATKA: This form is a DEP form. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: But we also have to come up with some type of plan that we think is going to fix it that we can bring to the meeting with them, and then obviously they're going to tell us what the fix is going to be. But they said they want to see a plan from us, though. MR. LOPATKA: We can get a rough plan, but I did send the form. I guess you didn't get it. I'11 send it again to Marylynn. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: So the form or the plan, we can- contact them after January. MR. LOPATKA: Come up with a 6 schematic. There's not a ton of room there to do a lot, but we can see what we can figure out. I - think it's probably some type of wall type of system. I don't think you can really put a dike system there. FEBBO: The river encroached on the road, sO there's a lot more room to push it back in to where it came from. MR. LOPATKA: But doesn't the river come relatively close to the road, the bank of the river? MR. FEBBO: Now it does, yes, only because it's been washing out throughout the years. Originally that was way back. There was enough room to park cars there. MR. LOPATKA: I'11 get something on that. MR. FEBBO: We don't have enough room from washing out. Next time the road goes, it's gone. MR. LOPATKA: It's on that curve. MR. FEBBO: That's why people are reluctant to do any improvements on their property because they're concerned about 7 being flooded. They're not going to invest tons of money in there. Again, that's the main driveway to 01d Forge from the highway. The first thing you see when you come around 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 that corner from Moosic. MR. LOPATKA: I'11 get that back out again and we'11 get a plan together. MR. NOTARI: Dave, has the architect been up yet to look at the senior center? MR. LOPATKA: Marylynn is supposed to be sending me the signed proposal tomorrow. She's on notice. So as soon as I get that proposal I'11 get it to her and we'11 get it rolling. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Anyone else have any questions for Dave? Anything else, Dave? MR. LOPATKA: That's it. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: Thank you. Chief Dubernas, anything for the agenda for the meeting coming up? CHIEF DUBERNAS: Just, I guess, Apollo Drive with Ms. Gething. I'm not sure exactly - that's part of the housing development and they only park on one side 8 of the road. So I'm not really sure what she's looking for. She's looking to change it sO you can park the wrong way. I was there. LETTIERI: She was looking to come down so in the wintertime, I guess, she was saying it's easier just to pull out. CHIEF DUBERNAS: Like they do for George Street for the winter months. I think it's from November until April they're allowed to park the wrong way because of the hill. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: So they can have better access. CHIEF DUBERNAS: But their hill's not really that bad there, but I understand there's a lot of elderly on that street. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: See what you can do. Would that be a study coming from you? CHIEF DUBERNAS: Give you an update. The sergeant's test was last Friday, the results were sent out to Chicago yesterday. I'm not sure when you guys want to sit down with the applicant : the candidates that are left on the full time. I know you guys like to meet them before you guys vote on them. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: I will sit down as soon as possible. MR. HOOVER: Let me know when. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: If you want to set it up : MR. NOTARI: Just personnel or all of us? MR. You have to pass the tax ordinance as well for 2023. I hope to have the SRO agreement possibly even approved by the school district to vote on for next year. Hopefully I have the deed back to arrange a meeting for Angela Drive and that you can accept that as a borough street. There's a subdivision map of the pit property. You have to record that. MR. HART: I have it in my office. ATTY. RINALDI: Hopefully we'11 have those deeds sO we can execute and take care of that property. So those five items. That's all I have right now. FEBBO: Question, Marylynn. George Dunbar, I know he did all the decorations out here. I ran into him and he wanted to know if it was possible to get a check for him for the dugout. We agreed on that about a month or sO ago. MS. BARTOLETTI: That's going to be done at the meeting in two weeks. MR. RUSSELL RINALDI: That's going to be on the agenda for the regular meeting. MR. LETTIERI: I'm good. 14 MR. Giglio Way. We haven't done it officially. I know we agreed to it. It was presented to Coach G.I. at their reunion over Thanksgiving. He was overwhelmed, he was humbled. The family could not be appreciative enough to the entire council. He was surprised, which I thank council for not saying anything. I know how we like to get excited about certain things, especially the good things. He had absolutely no idea, the family had no idea. So it was a nice tribute to him. So I ask that that get put on our agenda for official approval. ATTY. RINALDI: Is that an official name? MR. NOTARI: Yes. Joe "G.I." Giglio Way. The school district is in the process of beginning to change their stationary, things of that nature. So when that all happens, Chief, we'11 let you know about that for comm center. CHIEF DUBERNAS: A1l of Marion or just the 300 block? MR. NOTARI: I guess the 300 block from Railroad to Grace. I'd also like that we put an RFP on the agenda for IT consulting, see if anybody would be interested to be our consultant and provider and help desk quicker than what we have now. It shouldn't fall on Marylynn or the chief or any of the people in the building. Lastly, not for the agenda, but just to give some kudos to mostly everybody in this room for cooperation and support for Snow Forge. We had an unbelievable day Sunday. Council, myself and our committee thank you for the support you've given us throughout the year not only as council members but individuals in our community and business owners that sponsor and support our fund-raising efforts. You do whatever we ask, whatever we need, whatever we don't need, and it doesn't go unnoticed by the committee, and we make sure to tell everybody in the community that you're a big part of 01d Forge, the 01d Forge DPW, as anybody in town.
