Attorney  MINUTES OFTHE MONTHLYWORK SESSION  November 27, 2023 215 McNaughton St. PRESENT:  Commissioner Coffey Vice-Chairman Biddle Commissioner Douglas Commissioner Hoyte Commissioner Frost-Absent  Kenneth Riner, County Manager Lisa Bickel, County Clerk  Chairman Coffey called the Monthly Work Session of the Commission ofthe Unified Government of Cissela-Chattahoochee County, Georgia to order at 6:00 p.m., with all other Commissioners present, with the  exception of Commissioner Frost and live streaming on our Facebook page.  COUNTY MANAGER UPDATES:  Christmas Tree Lighting and Parade might be rescheduled due to weather concerns. He: still hasn't! heard anything back from the new auditor. He will get back on the phone in the morning and tryt to make contact. ABM has made contact and has said there might be some charges with the Neptune software in our water department. Commissioner Coffey stated thel bottom line with ABMi is that we need an invoice showing what we paid and what wes still owe, SO we can be free and clear. He also said that we need to add engineer  studies to our voting agenda. SPEAKERS:  Ben McGarr with UGA Community Engagement Coordinator -River Valley Compatibility Plan presentation  Department Head Updates:  Mordie. Askew gave updates for Recreation Department.  Samantha Hedgecoke gave updates for Community Development. She dids state that Ms. Debbie Hart had to reschedule her CUP Hearing &t that her Hearing will need tol be changed to Jan. 2nd at our: first meeting oft the  year.  Lou Beck gave updates for FT Moore. ACO. James' Tate gave updates for Public Works. Daniel Keith - Had tol be excused for waterle leak. COUNTY, ATTORNEYUFDATES:  11.27.23 Work Session  1    NONE agenda:  The following items were discussed as to their relevance for appearance on the Sept. 6, 2023 regular meeting EMPLOYEE HOLIDAYCALENDAR Commissioner Coffey brought up the idea oftaking some oft the Holidays and: making them floating Holidays to where employees can take the days when they would like to instead and have the county open on that Holidayi instead. Item added tol December agenda. COMMISSION MEETING CALENDAR Commissioner Coffey informed the Commission that there are two versions of the calendar, one with Work Sessions at 9:00 am and one with them at 6 pm. Item tol be added to SPLOST: Referendum 2025 DISCUSSION CHAIRMAN COFFEY: stated that there were ai few departments that had turned in there Splost, but that we still needed Public Works and Water, keep on work BOX SPRINGS RD still waiting on some items but can be added to the agenda in case the attorney has an  agenda.  session for continued discussion.  answer by them. PROPERTY BOOK OFFICER Commissioner Coffey stated that the county needs someone to bel held accountable fori the county's equipment, tools, laptops, etc. Someone needs to start keeping track of what the county owns and who uses it, and when they quit, get fired, that they give itl back or turn itin. For now, that person willl bet the County Manager. An actual book that shows everything the county owns. EXECUTIVESESSION:  AMotion was: made to goi into executive session at 7:50 p.m. Commissioner Hoyte made the Motion, seconded by Commissioner Biddle.
