Rodemaker, Commissioner T. Buchleitner, Commissioner D. Williams, "Commissioner Rodemaker called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was performed" Commissioner Rodemaker gave the floor to Mr. John Kraus and. John Clark from Allegheny Financial who presented the Board with the financial reports for Uniformed and Non-Uniformed pension plans. The economy is in better shape and  Commissioner..G Golden, Chief. J. Morell, Secretary C. Cunningham  the plans are on the way up. Kraus recommends to keep the plans as they are.  REPORTS: Engineers Report:  1. Soudan Lift Station Replacement Status: b. Requisition #4 approved by USDA. 2, Cunningham Lif Station Grinder a. WQM Permit issued 7/16/24. 3. Streets Paving a. Pavin and curb ramps are complete. 4. Chapter 94 Report for Erie WWTP a. Nol Update. Police Report:  a. Notice of Award to Konzel (Waiting for completed contract agreement documents) Received concurrence from USDA re: amendment to Engineering Agreement.  b. McCormick to sealed inlets, MH, Valve covers. Pending coordination with Township staff.  Urban will review invoice/pay application (est.$224,639.27)  Chief Morell stated the police responded to 917 calls this past month and that this has been the highest call record the PDI has ever had. Chief stated that a drug arrest came back positive for xylazine, andi thisi is thei first time he has seeni it int the Erie area. This drug is considered a "zombie" drugt that is derivedi from al horse tranquilizer. Chief stated that this is very alarming that itis "Commissioner Benovic motioned to approve all reports as presented. Commissioner Buchleitner made a motion to hire Gerard' Wodarski as seasonal crossing guard once his clearances are Commissioner Buchleitner motioned to advertisei the Budget meetings beghning9/6-122evey: Monday nightf from  furnished; Commissioner Rodemaker seconded; the motion carried. 5-7 pm. Commissioner Rodemakerseconded; the motion carried.    Commissioner Buchleitner reported that spending has remained on track. There have been upgrades to the Township office and Police Department IT. systems and the Township is now on a cloud-based program. There has been maintenance done to the Township equipment by our own maintenance crew thus improving our ability to continue daily needs. Buchleitner stated the Township has contracted with Grass Root through the DCED: Stamp Program which is helping to look at a 5-year plan for the Township regarding every area and every department performance. Buchleitner encouraged residents to attend the budget meeting sessions to see what is being looked at and the budgeting process for the coming year. Commissioner Buchleitner also said the Centennial Celebration could use Commissioner Benovicr reminded ther residents! Shakespeare in Napier Park willtake place August: 19, 20and 21.
