John Clark from Allegheny Financial who presented the Board with the financial reports for Uniformed and Non-Uniformed pension plans. The economy is in better shape and Commissioner..G Golden, Chief. Chief stated that a drug arrest came back positive for xylazine, andi thisi is thei first time he has seeni it int the Erie area. This drug is considered a "zombie" drugt that is derivedi from al horse tranquilizer. There have been upgrades to the Township office and Police Department IT. systems and the Township is now on a cloud-based program. There has been maintenance done to the Township equipment by our own maintenance crew thus improving our ability to continue daily needs. Buchleitner stated the Township has contracted with Grass Root through the DCED: Stamp Program which is helping to look at a 5-year plan for the Township regarding every area and every department performance. Buchleitner encouraged residents to attend the budget meeting sessions to see what is being looked at and the budgeting process for the coming year.
