He explained that he would like toi remove twot trees beside his property line. He stated that hei recently purchased thej property and one ofthet trees is lying over thel house andi isi in danger of falling onto thel house. He stated he would liket tol have thet trees removed to The Chairman opened the floor. There being none coming forward the floor was closed. Ms. Hickson asked ift the trees could be trimmed in anyway. Ms. Brennan explained that the trees are leaning way over the fence line and over thei roof, so trimming them back will notl help. January and discuss: removing the stone work and repairing thel brick. She stated that the Mr. John Harrelson, contractor, came forward and was sworn in. He explained that the building has an actual roofcollapse on1 the inside and has pushed the front wall oft thel building out. He explained that since the walli iss solid brick, when itj pushes outi it damages the entire structure. He stated that first they would liket to goi in and lift thei front of ther roofup, which will take at tremendous amount ofload offofthe front wall. Mr. Harrelson stated that there area al lot ofs stress cracks in the stone façade andi in thej process of repairing thei roof therei isa a chance thati more oft the stone façade may fall off. Mr. Hodges stated thatl he assumed that behind the stone the building has al brick façade like the other buildings in that section. Mr. Harrelson stated that his assumption was correct. Ms. Brennan stated that again thisi is just advisory. She explained that they wanted to1 make the Commission aware oft thej possible damage to the stone: façade, but shel has asked that they try andi minimize the damage tot thes stone.
