All unfinished business deferred to the August 20, 2024 Regular Council Meeting.  1. 2004 Street Paving Bids Opening. Bid results are as follows:  ExpertPaving Tresco Paving Morgan ExcavatingPaving 422,853.00 Redstonel Excavating EGrandel Industries DerryConstruction  487,293.00 362,089.00 369,374.00 449,239.50 446,661.50  Tresco Paving was to low bidder with a bid of $362,089. Jason Frazier motions to accept the Tresco Paving Bid and authorizes signing of their contract agreement. Seconded by Mindy Dugger. Motion Chuck Leighty motions to authorize spending up to $500 to repair and refinish the outside wooden steps. Seconded by Mindy Dugger. Motion  carried unanimously.  2. Discussion about condition of outside wooden steps.  carried.  3. Proposal for electronic key-flob door access to the borough building.  Chuck Leighty motions to purchase and install the system proposed by ProSite Systems, Inc. ini the amount of $7,276. Seconded by Mindy  Dugger. Motion carried.  4. Discussion of electrical needs to new garage and repairing existing problems in large  garage.  8/6/2024 Everson Borough Special Council Meeting Minutes  Page 12    Jason Frazier motions to contract with ProSite Systems, Inc. to install electrical facilities in the new garage and to repair the wiring in the large garage at a cost of $18,315.
