Fire Chief Spencer led the gatheringi in the Pledge to the Flag. A Roll Call of Members was then taken. Mr. Bolea seconded Mr. McCutcheon said, we are asking for $300,000.00 and then we would have to match that. We can also try to get the motion. another grant to offset it and he continued to explain. The. Authority's portion ofi it is just over $51,000.00, we should get in excess of $120,000.00 from Columbia Gas and there is also a sidewalk curb that a property owner will contribute over $25,000.00. Our net number will be around $225,000.00 to have this done inc concrete. Mr. Pendel said to clarify for the public, this work will be done on Chestnut Street between 4thand! 5th Avenues and a Construction, Inc. in the amount of $422,940.00. We also want to. thank Chief Denbow and his Department for clearing up the parking pioblem that wel had from people parking in the fire lane at State Manor and he continued to explain. Chief Spencer said if you have at fire hydrant in front of your residence please do not park or stack your trash in front ofit and he continued to explain. Engineers' Report Mr. Larry Lennon, Jr. said most of what we have was covered under the motions and directed everyone to his monthly report, Mr. Lennon, Jr. said Riverfront Park; you approved the payment request for Phasel land Phase ll earlier this evening. You can see that they are moving al lot of dirt down there and getting the site prepped. Youa adopted the Mr. Larry Lennon, Jr. said the 2023 Roadway Improvements; we will prepare the bid docs asi authorized tonight. Mr. Larry Lennon, Jr. said Chestnut Street Roadway Reconstruction; since that was awarded, we'll issue the award letter Resolution for Phase Illt tonight so that grant application will be filed. and proceed with the contract documents with the contractor and continued to explain. Mr. Larry! Lennon, Jr. said Ridge Avenue Tot Lot Improvements; we are waiting on the grant agreement. Mr. Larry Lennon, Jr. sald there are no updates on the Grant Applications. Mr. Larry Lennon, Jr. said Developments; there is a review letter for the Romasco Right-of-Way Vacationa and directed Mr. Lennon, Jr. said' Watt Street Development; there was a submission and we did send a letter to the Developer with a Mr. Cardimen said what are we worried about on' Watt Street? It's hard to believe that they're going toj put anything everyone to Attachment D. Mr. Lennon, Jr. said the Garden House; the County issued preliminary approval on February 28th. request regarding traffic and he continued to explain. bigger down there than the giant bulldozers that are down there now. Mayor's Report Mayor Dixon said I have been working with the Allegheny Health Network, the Hollow Oak Land Trust, the Riverhounds, ck's Sporting Goods and Communicycle for a gathering that we're having on April 1st. Ifanyone needs al bike, the first 125 people to sign up will receive al bike fori free through Communicycle and he continued to explain. 4 Mr. Pitassi said the library is trying to make: sure that everybody gets kickstarted into the programs after the Covid era Mr. Cardimen said since we have Lennon, Smith and Rick Start here, how would we look into where the property line is 'the McDonald's Parking Lot? There is a strip of land there that looks terrible and ifiti is ours, we can clean it up. wif. Manager's Report Mr. McCutcheon said Chief Denbow asked me to inform everyone that the Police Department received $15,000.00 to purchase. in-car video systems. The Chief wanted to thank Senator Devlin Robinson for speaking with the District Mr. McCutcheon said would like to thank Chief Denbow, Officer Stewart and District Attorney Stephen Zappala for Attorney's Office. getting that grant for $15,000.00. George Carr of Chestnut Street said when they blacktopped Chestnut iti is starting to cracki in the center. Mr. Carr said the sewer at the corner of Birch Way and Broadway is getting wider and wider.
