November 01, 2022 Absentee Meeting Minutes  Invocation - Member Devore  The meeting was called to order on November 1, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Cumberland County  Board of Elections board room by the Secretary.  Present: Absent: Staff:  Irene Grimes - Secretary Billy King - Member Helen Nelson - Chair Vicki Hillburn, Angie Amaro  James Baker - Member Linda Devore - Member  ACTION: Member King moves that the Board approve the agenda.  Second: Member Baker Vote: Unanimous in favor  Absentee Officer Hillburn presents 320 absentee ballot envelopes: 309 Civilian, 7 Military and 4 Overseas that have been received and reports that the staff recommendation is to approve Absentee Officer Hillburn also reports that an absentee ballot envelope has been received where one of the witnesses, who is also an assistant signed in one place only. ACTION: Member Devore moves to approve the absentee ballot where the witness, who is  them. Board members spot check the envelopes.  also an assistant signed on one signature line.  Second: Member Baker Vote: Unanimous in favor  ACTION: Member Baker moves to approve the 320 absentee ballots presented by staff  following their recommendation. Second: Member King Vote: Unanimous in favor  Ballots were entered into the tabulator, bringing the total absentee ballot count on the DS200 ACTION: Memberking moves to approve voting machine certification as conducted by staff.  to 1568.
