September 13, 2022 Meeting Minutes  Invocation - Member Devore  The meeting was called to order on September 13, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cumberland  County Board of Elections board room by the Secretary.  Present:  Helen Nelson - Chair Billy King - Member James Baker by phone Vicki Hillburn, Angie Amaro  Irene Grimes - Secretary Linda Devore - Member  Staff: Guests:  Sally Shutt  ACTION: Member King moves that the Board approve the agenda.  Second: Member Devore Vote: Unanimous in favor  Board recesses at 5:02 p.m.; Chair Nelson reconvenes the meeting at 5:04 p.m.  ACTION: Member Devore moves to approve the minutes for the meetings on July 25, 26 and  August 4,5, 11, 2022. Second: Member Grimes Vote: Unanimous in favor  Interim Director. Amaro proposes a twice-per-week Absentee Meeting Schedule, each Tuesday ACTION: Member Grimes moves that the Board schedule absentee meetings as proposed by  and Thursday at 09:00 a.m. (beginning on October 4th, 2022)  staff.  Second: Member King  Vote: Pass (in favor: Nelson, King, Grimes, Baker; opposed: Devore)  ACTION: Member Devore moves that the Board go into closed session to discuss a personnel  issue.  Second: Member King Vote: Unanimous in favor  The Board moved from open into closed session at 5:15 p.m. to discuss a personnel issue.  The Board returns into open session at 6:07 p.m..
