August 04, 2022 Absentee Meeting Minutes Invocation - Member Baker The absentee meeting was called to order on August 4, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at the Cumberland County Board of Elections by the Chair. Present: Helen Nelson - Chair (arrived 5:10) Billy King Member Irene Grimes Secretary Linda Devore - Member James Baker Member Staff: Guests: Angela Amaro, Vickie Hillburn, Bill Helms, Mitzie Roberts Gerard Falls, Janene Ackles, Myron Pitts, Bishop McNeill, Mario Benavente, Sally Shutt ACTION: Member King moves that the agenda be approved. Second: Member Devore Vote: Unanimous 21 military and 6 overseas. Absentee Officer Hilburn presents 53 absentee ballots that have been received; 45 civilian and There are also 3 absentee ballots that arrived on July 27, 2022 and where hand carried into the office by a postal employee who says they were found inside a postal facility and bear no postmark.
