OLD BUSINESS NONE Motion: Sally Grimes, second by Kevin Fron, to approve the minutes as presented. NEW BUSINESS 1.)1 Discuss the 2024-2025 fiscal year budget and tax rate. The City Council discussed the upcoming budget at length and questioned department heads regarding the need for additional equipment and supplies and the costs associated with these items, such as the) HydroVact trailer, hand-held radar guns, and. AED equipment, The taxi rate discussed was $0.46, the same as the 2023/2024 tax year. Due to the increased property and values, $0.46 will raise an additional $79,218.82 ifp passed. No Action was taken. 2.) Approval ofa all financials. Bank Reconciliation Statement of Financial Income and Expenses Expenses by Vendor Detail Profit & Loss Budget VS. Actual Motion: Kevin Fron, second by Chip Foster, to approve financials as presented. Motion passed 5/0. STAFFREPORTS 1.) Public Works-Dan Wilson discussed the work on Elm Lane, WWTP, the new shop, and re-engineering a 3.)City Attorney Jeremy SoRelle discussed with the Council the latest developments regarding the HCAD and 4.) City Administrator- Michelle Burdette discussed thej potential COLA for all city employees. 5.) Mayor-Matt Hutsell discussed removing the OLD Cleaners owned by the City to allow for future parking. small portion in the Oaks ofTolar. citizens' grievances. 6.)
