REPORT FROM JUDGE: Judge Roots spoke with Arthur Weinman Architect in reference to the appeal to replace the cement around the courthouse. Mr. Weinman said he would contact the Historical Society about this at no additional cost to the county. AMA TechTel will hold a public meeting August 21, 2024 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Wolf Creek Heritage Museum. The purpose of the meeting is to seek public comment on AMA's plan to build a new communications tower dedicated to delivering high-speed broadband to Lipscomb and surrounding area. The bridge located on County Road 10 intersected with Bowen Creek was found to be a priority level 2 with follow-up action needed. Channel bed has severed drift/tree logs accumulated at upstream end. Removal of drift accumulation is needed. CONSIDER BURN BAN: No action taken. CONSIDER SELLING SURPLUS COUNTY EQUIPMENT ON PURPLE WAVE: Selling surplus equipment was discussed Each commissioner needs to make a list of things no longer used to see what needs to be placed on Purple Wave. UPDATE ON COUNTY ROADS: County roads were discussed. MATTERS OF MUTUAL CONCERN: precinct equipment with the court. the equipment in the precincts. Kimberly Long, County Treasurer discussed time sheets and audit logs for Commissioner Cockrell would like to put a plan in place to start replacing COURT ADJOURNED: 2024 at 9:00 a.m. COUNTY CLERK With no further business to discuss, Dan Cockrell made a motion to adjourn at 1:34 P.M.
