Becker,Jr.. Esquire, 529 Carlisle Street: Mr. Becker stated that he represents citizens who are opposed to the enactment of the proposed rental registration and inspection ordinance. He questioned the lack of information regarding cost, and various logistics for the enforcement of the ordinance. He criticized thel logistics of the survey for the proposed ordinance. He suggested a revision oft the current proposal and asked Council to table thei item to a future agenda for more discussion. Phil Redding, 230 Stock Street: Mr. Redding stated his support ofMr. Becker's opinion oni the proposed rental registration and inspection ordinance. He asked if consideration was given to amend the current Robert Holt, 513 High Street: Mr. Holt thanked Council for their enforcement actions regarding the York Street property thati isl listed on the agenda this evening. He asked that Council delay any action on the proposed boat rental at the dams. He asked for more discussion ont the issue and a public hearing. Mr. Holt expressed concern regarding potential costs for the proposed rental registration and inspection ordinance, instead of enacting ar new ordinance. ordinance, and for Council to consider tabling the item. This was Counciwoman Darlene Funk's first meeting on the Library Board of 3/19: David Longfield-Smith, Matthew. Jackson and presented the Blue Zones Project to the Hanover Rotary. 3/21: Borough Manager Margie Lewis and met with the Director oft the YWCA, Jody Shaffer and Gloria Marcott of Soul Punch, ac coaching program that helps women to command their power ands safety, to help integrate and 3/23: Councipersons, Borough employees and I attended an all day retreat together. We began the day by touring all of the Borough's facilities from the dams, water treatment, sewer, maintenance, and the transfer station. This was very interesting andi it was impressive tos see all the knowledgeable and dedicated employees we have and the complicated work they do to keep the Borough running smoothly every day.
