MINUTES OFTHE August 19, 2024  HANOVER BOROUGH ZONING HEARING BOARD MEETING  Vice Chairman Shirk convened the meeting of the Hanover Borough Zoning Hearing Board at 6:12 PM on Monday August 19, 2024 in the Hanover Municipal Building, 44 Attendance: In attendance were Zoning Hearing Board Members Funk and Shirk; Alternate Member Funke; Staff Members Administrative Assistant Graham-Herrick and ChiefCode Entorcement/Zoning Officer Miller; Zoning Solicitor Senft and Stenographer Approval of Minutes: It was moved by Mr. Funk, seconded by Mr. Shirk to approve the minutes of the Zoning Hearing Board Meeting held on July 15, 2024. Motion carried. Due to Zoning Hearing Board Member Gerry Funke recusing himself from the hearing, Solicitor Senft acknowledged that he and Attorney John R Wilson, representation for the applicant for 751 George Street, Hanover, PA, had a brief conversation regarding Mr. Funke's recusal, and it is the desire of the applicant to postpone the hearing until the September 16, 2024 meeting of the Zoning Hearing Board. Attorney Wilson stated that he would provide a formal request in writing to postpone the hearing as well as waive the  Frederick St, Hanover, PA, as advertised.  Zepp. - Chairman Bond was absent.  60 day requirement for the hearing and this will be forthcoming. Solicitor Senft asked for public comment, and there was none.
