MINUTES OF THE HANOVER BOROUGH GOVERNANCE & POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING May 6, 2024 Acting Chairperson Mrs. Greenholt convened the meeting of the Hanover Borough Council Governance & Policy Committee meeting on Monday, May 6, 2024, at 6:00pm in the Hanover Municipal Building, 44 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA, as advertised. Attendance: In attendance were Committee Members Mrs. Greenholt, Mr. Roland, Human Resources Director Hill, and Payroll Administrator Mallette. Chairperson Dr. Rupp was not in attendance. Approval of the Minutes: It was moved by Mr. Roland, seconded by Mrs. Greenholt to approve the minutes of March 4, 2024, as written. Motion carried. Public Comment: None was presented. Borough ofHanover Employee Handbook Mr. Roland commended Director Hill on the execution of the Employee Handbook. Mr. Roland had inquiries regarding Volunteering, RTKs, Vehicle Equipment, Compensation and Hours, Recording time worked and Continuing Education. Director Hill explained each inquiry in detail and noted she will be bringing the Employee Handbook to the next two meetings with additions. She would like to wait until the end oft the year for the council's approval. Bi-Monthly Meetings As discussed at the March 4, 2024, Governance & Policy meeting, committee members proposed Itwas moved by Mrs. Greenholt, seconded by Mr. Roland to approve bi-monthly meetings for bi-monthly meetings for the remainder of2024. July, September and November for the remainder of2024. Motion carried. Public Comment: None was presented.
