MAYOR: Thel Mayor referred to Chip Bell to explain why iti is necessary to dot thel Emergency of] Declaration. Chip Bell, the Solicitor read (hel Emergency) Declaration of the Borough of Clearfield. This was execuled by the Chip also added this suspends certain things in thel Law putting contracts out tol bid, such as the Sunshine Act, specifically with to regards with actions of what is expected with this emergency, roofing bids havet to go to normal procedures, but anything for emergency supplies such as hand sanitizers or any emergency supplies, we can get those things where we want, as quickly as we can, no bids needed. This also opens up any Federal Government funding or State Government funding because we. have declared anl Emergency Declaration. The Mayor also wanted to say he is proud of the community, the churches, thes small businesses and restaurants, please keep them in mind, the churches have services on line, and restaurants are doing curb side services. She stated that Discover.com is also] pushing out different activities for children and adults to do. Wel have restricted accesst to the office, we will have an intercom service to help, and willl have our door locked. This is all toj protect our staff. Mason will be working on our website, he will update it. The Clearfield School District has aj program for breakfast and lunch for the children.  Our trucks are out doing curb side pick ups. MOTION Carried. Les stated that another bid was received from CBF Contracting for $53,900.00 with a 20 year warranty. Theyare from Clarion, it includedi installation, repair @$2.14: square foot and our crew would be removing ballast. MOTION was made by.
